I promised more, so here it is. You should have most of these ingredients around the home already.

Household cleaning

Carpet Cleaner

1/2 c baking soda

1 c borax

1 c cornmeal

Sprinkle over rug and rub with cloth, Let rest several hours then vacuum.

Carpet Stains:

1/4 c castille soap

1/3 c water

Blend till foamy, spread on stain, let sit a few minutes, then scrub with brush or rag.

Air Freshener:

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp vinegar or lemon juice

2 c hot water

Mix in a spray bottle, Spritz air to remove odors

Oven cleaner

1 c baking soda

1/4 c washing soda

Add enought water to make a paste

Apply paste, let soak overnight. Next day lift off soda mixture and grime.

Oven cleaner:

sprinkle baking soda over spill. let set for a while. Spray with water and a little liquid soap. Use a fine steel wool.

Toilet Cleaner

Pour 1 c borax into toilet before going to bed, next day scrub and flush. For extra strength add 1/4 c vinegar

For Stains on sinks and tubs

Use Cream of tartar 

or

Hydrogen peroxide

Unclogging drains

use 1/4 c washing soda once a week to prevent.

If you have a clog use

1 c baking soda

followed by 3 c boiling water. reapeat 2-3 times for tough clogs, then use 1 c vinegar
